Nella finale giocata a Lubiana la squadra tedesca ha battuto 1-0 il Portogallo.

Decisiva la rete di Nmecha al 4′ del secondo tempo. Per la nazionale guidata da Stefan Kuntz è il terzo successo dopo quelli del 2009 e del 2017.
